I am LOVING the Identity Challenge 2025. These promises never get old. This year, I have been so moved by God's declarations that I am Loved and Significant. I am lavished with mercy and grace, rescued from sin and death, yearned for and desired, cared for and protected, and I am significant because of WHO I belong to and WHO dwells inside of me, not WHAT I do. I am becoming a stronger and more confident man. Thank you Jesus for all you are doing IN me through this year's Challenge!

The identity challenge is motivating me to dwell on God’s word every day. I am blessed each day when I read the posts from the ladies in my group. I love seeing how God is speaking to each person. God is teaching me that I rely too much on my accomplishments to feel significant. I am reminded that even if everything I’ve ever accomplished or owned is stripped away, God would still love me and accept me.

This challenge has been so amazing because I’ve seen actively how I’ll write something and it will apply to me in that day, I’ve gotten excited to understand and read more about the Bible and I’ve felt more alive in Christ!

The identity challenge has been dwelling inside my heart every day. It motivates me to be more like Jesus and get in his word. I'm continuing to learn that my identity is in Jesus, I know my security is in him! This gives me confidence, and peace knowing I am a part of him. No matter how I perform on the ice, or what someone thinks of me I know who I am in Christ Jesus! My faith is constantly increasing, through this challenge and will continue to!!!

This Identity Challenge has been a huge blessing to me personally in my heart with not only the great things that Jesus has done in me, but even more what HE has done in some of my friends. These journals are encouraging and uplifting to see what Jesus has done and is continuing to do in Men and Women everywhere. Jesus, You are worthy of it all !!!!! Thank You Jesus for everything and continuing to be the Miracle Worker every moment of every day.

The identity challenge is a great 30-day challenge. It is always a good reminder of God’s many great promises over my life. I am made holy by the blood of Jesus Christ, adopted as a son of God, and part of his royal family! What a promise! I love reading others journal entries. Here is something I read in someone else’s post: embracing my position/standing as a child of God comes 1st, then comes the change in my heart and in my behaviour. That truth hit me this time around!

The identity challenge has been so encouraging to me, it’s truly a blessing to discuss and dive deep into Gods promises with others. Journaling and meditating on powerful verses each day has helped me increase my faith and inspire me to share with others what I’m learning. In particular this years challenge has really reminded me of the love God has for me and that my performance or what people think of me isn’t important because I’m on Gods team and he loves and yearns for me! Thank you God for revealing your truth and promises to us through this years challenge!

nThis challenge is definitely driving home how much God loves and values me

nas His child. There is so many ways of looking at His love for me. But even if

nI cannot possible remember all of them. When i look at the cross, Christ' sacrifice

nI am reminded that He layed down His life for me. Now I am right with God and

nHis love will never leave me. How important to be reminded every day that I am

nnot who I think or what others think I am but who God says I am. I am His forgiven

nchild and when he comes back or when i die nothing else will matter but my faith

nIn Jesus. Thank you PE for helping us to try to grasp how long, wide and deep

nGod's love is for us.

I did the Identity Challenge last year and going through it again, I see a difference in myself! My roots have grown deeper and my belief has increased. I really believe these truths and it’s changing me. Now, as I go through the Challenge for a second time, my limiting beliefs are fewer and are more easily washed away with the truth of God’s Word. I am being transformed by the renewing of my mind! I love the community aspect as well- I glean so much from reading the insights, struggles, and prayers of those in my group. It helps me know that I’m not alone and there are others with the same thoughts as me. Praise God, we can stand together against the lies of the enemy and stand strong in the truth of God’s Word!

This is my first year doing the Identity Challenge, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect! What I found is how reinvigorating it has been to start each day focusing on the truths of who I am in Christ. Going back to these foundational truths has been a great way to kick off the year! It’s also reminded me of how deeply connected we are to one another and how important our relationships and shared journeys are to Him. It’s been a real encouragement to see God moving in and through His people, and it’s helping me grow in both my understanding of myself and my place in the body of Christ.

This is the second time I have been a part of the 30-day challenge. I have been so encouraged by the insights of those in our group both times. It is really neat to hear what God is speaking to each of us and that we get to share it with each other. I truly look forward to reading posts and I feel like it motivates me in my walk with God. This is such a unique opportunity to connect with other believers in sports on such a deeper, spiritual level. My very favorite part though, is when Gary finishes each identity video with a "Here we go!", cheering us on in our commitment and faith.

This challenge is something that I have recommended to teammates of mine and has definitely impacted my faith in an great way and is a solid reminder that our identity goes past what sport we play or how well we do. This is a great way to start the year and dive into God’s word daily!

The 30 day identity challenge has been amazing. It is a great way to hold yourself accountable to journalling on a daily scripture. Helping you focus on your true identity in Christ how God sees you not how you think you are seen. What an encouragement to be able to see and read other peoples journal on the verses and the diffrent ways people see those verses. Looking forward to doing it in 2026

I absolutely love doing the identity challenge. The videos that come out each day are super impactful for me to watch. Gary speaks about the verses so well and he makes it easy to relate. This challenge has had a lasting impact on me. When life gets hard, I am reminded that I’m not defined by my circumstance. I am defined by who God declares me to be! This is so freeing because I don’t have to worry about short term pains or trials. I can rest on the fact that I’m loved, chosen, a part of the royal t, protected, and many more. This challenge will really help you grow in your faith and grow closer to God!

The Pure Encouragements 30-Day Challenge has been a blessing to me again this year.

nIt pushes me out of my comfort zone, where the growth happens. I look forward to Gary's daily messages, which are always delivered with energy.

nI also love meditating on God's promises and treating it like a workout - getting in the reps. It's motivating to do this challenge together, inspiring each other with personal thoughts and insights. I learn more by diving into the Word and hearing how others apply the same scriptures to their unique life circumstances.

nEveryone's life is different, but we're all growing together.

This identity challenge has been so amazing and fruitful. I have loved getting to do this with my group and see what God is doing my life as well as others. It has taught be a lot about myself. It has been a great reminder to me that sports is not who I am. I am a man of God secured by his love. It has been a blast and has helped me strengthen my faith!

I’m grateful for having the opportunity to take part in the challenge and see the way God moves through the people around me. I’ve seen a daily shift in perspective within myself with each promise we’ve reflected on. I do a fair amount of writing when it comes to planning, organizing or learning, but almost never in personal reflection. Journaling each day has helped me really sit and abide more in Christ. The passages each day are nice little reminders of how mericiful our Creator is, and how important we are to HIm. We’ve all been given an amazing gift, meant to be shared. This group is a great reminder of how the God’s influence is all around us.

Back around the first of the year, after reading the email from the PE team, I started to feel a nudging from the Lord to register for this year’s Identity Challenge. I‘d hit a bit of a stale spot and one thing I know about Gary and his ministry is, he’ll push you out of your comfort zone, and the Spirit was reminding me of that. Then, literally within an hour of reading the email, Gary text me with a personal invite, and said I really needed to do this. Sometimes the Lord is pretty clear when He speaks.

nThis is my second time to do the “Challenge”, but the first time with a group. I don’t use any of my previous journals when posting this time, but I do read them before I begin writing just to see how the Lord has grown me these past few years.

nI will usually read the promise the night before and dwell on it for a bit, then sleep on it and let the Lord speak to me in the morning. But, there have been a couple times, last night was one, when the Lord spoke immediately and I’d have to journal before I’d forget.

nIt has been a refreshing journey, and the accountability has made it easier this time to go a little deeper. I thoroughly enjoy reading the other postings, especially from the men I know, to see their journey and growth. Thanks and God Bless to all the PE team who make this all come together.

Could not be more excited to be apart of the 30 day identity challenge. It helped me again to see what God says about me. And I had a choice to believe what God says about me or what others say or think. It's life changing to know how God feels about me, all the worldly things just seemed to fade away.

Scripture says in Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” I would say my identity in Christ most definitely falls into this category! Dwelling on who I am and Whose I am has been so impactful and continually brings my heart and mind back to God’s work through Jesus Christ!

nThis is my first time through the challenge and it has utterly lifted my gaze, my spirit, and my thoughts! The challenge has calibrated my desires according to scriptural truths! And my group has been so encouraging! I love how the body of Christ brings out different facets of scriptural truths… it’s like looking at a diamond from all different angles, experiencing beauty in different ways!

Before starting this challenge, I did not know the depth of God’s love for me. I knew he loved me, but after meditating on each of God’s promises from this challenge, I am learning about the extent to which he loves me. I don’t deserve any of the blessing he has rained upon me, yet he still blesses me abundantly! God declares me as a man of God, and I can walk in confidence and freedom in Christ. Knowing what God declares me to be and his love for me has also transformed my prayer life as I get to thank God for specific promises he declares in Scripture.

God is teaching me to receive through this challenge. Many of the promises I already “know” or have heard spoken over me or to me in a sermon, but God is showing me I need to truly receive these truths and believe them. The extent that I receive each one, seems to be the extent to which I am transformed. I encourage everyone to receive the promises of the Lord and let Him write them on your heart to be pondered on daily. I love this challenge because it creates a fun space to do this in a community of believers!

This challenge has helped me in so many ways, its helped me stay consistent in Gods word and it helps me think of ways I can apply these lessons into my life. Its also really cool to read other peoples views on each day and lesson which helps me tackle each day with confidence.

Going through this identity challenge has helped me reestablish a practice of being in the word every day, even if it’s just in a small way. Taking a moment to think, reflect, and celebrate the different identities I have in Christ has been both refreshing and challenging. I’ve rolled it into my routine for how I start the day, and it’s something that I now look forward to and miss when I do not complete it.

Man God is so good! The 30 day identity challenge from Gary and his team has been such a blessing to me this month. I love being daily reminded of His promises hidden in the Word. I enjoy walking side by side with my teammates and drawing near to His heart with them. I value the accountability that comes along with this challenge. Lastly, there is so much peace in performance when I make an effort to lay down my desires daily. Pursuing the Lord makes performance my praise! Thank you Jesus that I can look back on my life and say THIS is where you’ve been. Thank you for revealing yourself to me through others and through this challenge!

The 30 Day Identity Challenge has been an incredible blessing to the start of my year! Many of the truths are something that are not new, but digging deeper into them, and hearing others discuss how they apply in their words, has been a great source of reminding and confidence building. Reminding my heart many times a day, what the truth that God says about me provides constant confidence in who I am and what I’m doing to glorify him. The flesh fades away and the spirit grows stronger day by day.

The 2025 Identity Challenge continues to challenge me everyday that my identity is in Christ and I am who he calls me to be. I am not the lies from the enemy or what the world says of me. My identity does not come from what I do. Knowing the biblical true identity statements reminds me and keeps me on track of living in the true freedom that God has desired for my life. Everyday I have found the enemy wants to attack my identity so remembering these identity statements has been so transformational for my life.

nThe one identity statement that has been transformational for my life is that I AM A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST. Because of this I do not live in my old ways. I am God’s child, called to bear his image. I am on mission for him and by his Holy Spirit he will help me everyday to walk this out.

I have never done anything like this identity challenge before and it has been life changing. I have called myself a Christian my whole life. I’ve also been an athlete or coach as long as I can remember. I am certain my identity is more based around who I am in my job than who the Lord says I am. I’ve felt an amazing transition throughout this challenge as I journal about all the different things God declares me to be. I feel filled with strength and confidence beyond normal as I am armed by the power of who the Lord declares me to be. I’ve loved the consistency and accountability our group has shown. I’m thankful for guys to be vulnerable enough to journal openly together. I’m grateful for the opportunity to reshape my identity into who the Lord declares me to me, not man or worse my own ego. The Identity Challange has been the best way to start the new year. Have been doing this encouragement/study with some of my closest spiritual dudes and it has challenged all of us to be better men. The Holy Spirit has been working in us and through us through the truths of the Bible and how our Father views us. Incredible study, and huge thanks to Gary for leading us through it and speaking Gods truth into our lives!

This is my second time doing the 30 day challenge. God always shows me new things as I read His word or as people share in the small groups. The short daily videos and journal prompts are a good way to start each day. One thing is certain we need to know who we are in Christ and whose we are in order to break off the lies of the one that condemns us. God wants to use us and send us out to be effective for His kingdom. Are you ready?

As someone who’s always known Jesus, but haven’t really followed him or lived for him until this past year, I’m so grateful that he stuck by me & believed in me during those lost years. This challenge has really kept my faith in check & made me realize how special I am, how Gods using me to be a beacon for those around me & to go after lost souls to get them on our team. The daily words are so inspiring & puts your worries at ease as we go about our challenging days out there in this troubled world. Are all the days wonderful? Not yet for me, but with a daily program like this always keeping your eyes on Jesus & his righteousness is very reassuring to me.

The 30 day challenge, did just that, "Challenged me." It challenged me to think about what I'm reading. Lots of times I read scripture but don't really think about what I'm reading. After reading the passage I took a moment and asked God what he is saying to me. I learned that in every passage God is speaking directly to me. I'm super grateful for Gary and the team, I was able to learn from everyone's entries and see different thoughts on scripture. Thanks for helping me grow and learn.

Loved the 30 day challenge. i’m looking forward to the next and want to go 30 days straight this next time. The theme of identity hit me in a season when I needed it. Was incredibly encouraged going through it and loved the discipline of reading and journaling every day. Was needed in a tough season!
